Sean Fox has a deep background in horticultural science with a particular emphasis on native plant conservation. His current position as Assistant Arboretum Manager, at the University of Guelph Arboretum, sees him responsible for the upkeep of The Arboretum's diverse plant collections and conservation programs.

Rare Native Woody plants of Ontario, The University of Guelph Arboretum has been home to the Rare Woody Plants of Ontario Program for over 30 years. Several of Ontario’s threatened and endangered woody plant species will be discussed using a series of diagnostic photos and range maps. |

Mark Carabetta is Ontario Nature’s Conservation Science Manager. Mark manages Ontario Nature’s 22 nature reserves (almost 6,000 acres), located across southern and eastern Ontario and protecting many rare and at-risk species, including a number of plants.

Unique Native Plants of the Malcolm Bluff Shores, Niagara Escarpment Ontario Nature and the Bruce Trail Conservancy are in the process of acquiring 1045 acres of unfragmented forest and Georgian Bay shoreline along the Niagara Escarpment on the Bruce Peninsula. The property supports a wide variation of habitats and several rare plant species. |

Martin Galloway Martin has a BSc, M.Sc.and B.Ed. He teaches Pathophysiology at Seneca and teaches Natural Science part-time at York. He owns Chalk Lake Greenhouses (for 35 years +) specializing in perennials and native plants. Martin was a segment presenter/writer on the Canadian TV series Harrowsmith Country Life and also hosted The Secret World of Gardens. |
